$500/month is the earning cap for working one hour per day for MAPs from low income countries where per capita GDP is less than $5,000/year.. 

The $1,100 /month is the earning cap for working 4 hrs /day for MAPs from low income countries. Once a MAP starts earning $501 or more, she will have the option to optin to work 4 hrs /day to earn $501-$1,100 per month.
